The first official Sutphen Seminars were conducted in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1976, in response to the interest in Dick's book You Were Born Again To Be Together. The book went on to sell a million copies and remained in print for 22 years. But prior to publication of the book, Dick conducted small seminars at his own Hypnosis Center in Scottsdale, Arizona, and in several Arizona colleges.
