known for his capacity and clarity in helping others discover the
"language of the soul." A fourth generation artist, Paul specializes in
the artistic sharing and teaching of an ancient language and powerful
symbol, the Mandala. Paul's intensely colorful paintings are for and

wholeness.

"Bud"
was born in Haverhill Massachusetts. He always showed an interest in art
and it was natural that upon retirement he would take up brush and
palette. At the same time he studied genealogy and traced his family
back to Pre-Colonial New England. Two of the most interesting of his
forefathers were two great, great grandfathers Jacob Smith and William
Towle. They fought in the French Indian Wars and at Bunker Hill. Bud
signs his work Jacob Towle to honor their memory. e-mail address:

Acrylics were Bud's first choice of media, and in six years entered his
first art show in Fort Myers Florida. He won first place in the
competition. Bud presently paints in oils and watercolors depending on
what the subject matter best calls for, painting almost entirely on
scene. In 1999 he entered his second competition at the Greater
Haverhill Arts Association and won the Silver Bowl for best
Representation of the Merrimac Valley. In April of 2000 he entered his
third competition at the Greater Haverhill Arts Association and was
presented the "Founder's" award. In June of 2000 he entered
Newburyport's Third Regional Juried art show. Of nearly three hundred
entries Bud was given one of sixteen awards. Bud is President of the
Greater Haverhill Arts Association and a member of the Newburyport Arts
Association. His paintings hang in many collections in the Greater
Haverhill area, Florida, and California.

ALICE LEGGETT
uses her "sixth sense" for interpreting a photograph into a work of
art, creating a marvelous image of unique quality. The personality
is captured in the precise likeness, bringing pleasure to viewers
for all time. A custom image can be designed from multiple

color palette. In addition to her portraits, you can view her still
life work and landscapes. Pictured here: "Jan's Hands" Best of Show

describes himself as an emerging artist who has married celestial/cosmic
skies with beautiful landscapes...and his style as colorful, peace
inducing pastel, which is focused on natures amazing spirit and life. He
possesses a "realist" style and finds joy in enhancing the colors and
moods of a landscape, giving a sophisticated and moving brilliance.
Sometimes he has represented actual places, but most and continually
more so, they are places of the heart that reveal themselves through the
creative process. "Those are the most enjoyable paintings for me, and
tend to flow more easily." Since Kip has received no formal training, he
is considered a self taught master of his medium. "In my opinion, there
can be no better teacher or motivator than yourself. We all hold the key
to our destiny deep inside. It's up to the individual and their creator,
to continually push their limits and release their talents, whatever
they may be. As long as they are intended to better our planet."
Kip's most recent work has included new twists
which are Astronomy oriented. Spending some time in areas that don't
receive a great deal of exiting weather, his eyes have been forced to
look beyond the clouds. "There is a great deal yet to be learned and
discovered about our Universe, in fact we know very little. It is my
intention and desire to remind us what we are actually a part of. We're
all connected, even to the cosmos. We are one verse...a "uni"-verse."
Seeing his ideas become realities is what he thrives on. In the shows in
which he has participated in, he has enjoyed success. On top of selling,
he's received special recognitions, purchase awards, commissions and
even "People's Choice" Award, through his unique and sophisticated
style.
Kip currently lives and works in the Missoula, Montana area and looks
forward to a bright future while continuing to create a new and exiting
view of the natural world. It is his hope to share a message of peace
and hope for the future through his creations and to help encourage the
surfacing of hidden talents of all individuals.
